Description
Very pretty glass gem corn. Shades of purples, whites, creams, and blues. This is a flint corn, so it can be ground up, used like popcorn, or for fall decoration. I would not try to eat it like corn on the cob, though.
I experimented with this corn a couple years ago, because I was guaranteed it would sprout. I planted 4, groups of 4 in various soil conditions. All 16 sprouted, grew and produced. Of course my yields varied based on the conditions, but I was very impressed that all of them grew, let alone produced anything.
Everything I grow is free of chemicals, my farm is not certified organic, but I only use natural fertilizers from my animals and never spray insecticide or herbicide on anything.
