Description
These are wild black raspberries that are growing all along my fence rows. They are extremely abundant producers. I can go out every day during picking season and end up with several pounds of berries.
I always make a ton of jams, jellies, syrups, fresh berries, to give out to friends and family. Of course my ducks and chickens, get plenty of berries as well.
It may take a few years for these to get you to that point, but you will be amazed at how many berries you get. I have split and transplanted many of these all along my fields and other areas of the property and will have a decent harvest from those, the following year. These are perennials, so they will continue to grow, year after year.
Everything I grow is free of chemicals. My farm is not certified organic, but I only use natural fertilizers from my animals and never spray insecticide or herbicide on anything.

Summer cuttings… they are different than the late fall-early spring cuttings. The summer cuttings will have old growth, new growth, and possibly fruit… depending on when they are purchased. You can try to root the old growth (hardwood) and the new growth (softwood) also you could dry out the fruit and possibly use those as seeds. Because these will be trying to establish roots during the hot parts of the year, they will require a little more effort… More watering, and preferably some afternoon shade. You may want to start these in a bucket and when established, move them into the area you want.
